Seventh grade basketball remains undefeated as they prepare to end season

The Bainbridge Middle School 7th grade boys basketball team won its game against Thomas County Central Middle School on Dec. 7. The bearcats swatted the yellow jackets with a score of 43-29.

“The players performed admirably on defense and offense to help notch our seventh win of the season.” said Coach Patrick Clark. “We must continue to force more turnovers and create easier shots for teammates.”

Devon Bouie led the Bearcats in scoring with 17 points. He was followed in scoring by Zion Bouie who contributed 7 points. Five other Bearcats contributed in scoring to the 43-point effort.

The win puts the Bearcats at 7-0 on the season, with their next game coming on Dec. 14 against the Thomasville City Middle School Bulldogs. Tip-off is at 4:30 pm.

“Our 7th grade basketball teams will finish their home season tomorrow with a home game against the Thomasville Bulldogs,” Clark said. “Our boys’ team has a chance to complete an undefeated season with a victory. Our ladies have a chance to finish a winning season. We are asking all of you to come out and support the 7th grade team in their final games”
