Willie Iris Baker Long, 85, of Rowlett, Texas, formerly of Jupiter, Fla., passed away Monday, December 5, 2016.
The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Black Jack Baptist Church with Elder Judge C. Stanaland officiating. Interment will follow at Black Jack Baptist Church Cemetery.

Willie Iris Baker was born July 23, 1931, in Liberty County, Fla., the daughter of Willie Hollis Baker and Ellie Mae Goodson Baker. She married Burton Palmer Long in 1948, and served faithfully as a pastor’s wife at West Street Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Ga. and Beacon Baptist Church in Jupiter, Fla.
Survivors include her children, Burton Palmer Long, Jr. of Jupiter, Jasper Rogers Long and his wife, Melissa, also of Jupiter, Iris Priscilla Long Eastridge and her husband, Stephen, of Rowlett, Texas, Rhonda Kay Long Sesco and her husband, Terry, of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Donna Alisa Long Dotson and her husband, William, of Winter Park, Fla.; her ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Burton Palmer Long, Sr., and her sister, Maxine Baker Horton.
