Carl Michael Hayes

Carl Michael Hayes was born on December 15, 1968, in Donalsonville, Ga. He quietly and peacefully passed away on November 20, 2016.

Services will be conducted by Bruton Mortuary with the service to be held November 27, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Nelson Chapel AME Church in Bainbridge.

Carl leaves to cherish his precious memories a devoted and loving wife, Tameka Hayes, one son Carl Hayes Jr., one step-son Darion Mines; three daughters, Whitnee Jackson (Napoleon), Carlisha Brown (Keiko), Takendra Ross; one step-daughter, Sydnee Mines; Mother-in-law Ollie Pompey; Father-in-law, Robert Pompey; eight grandchildren; seven brothers, Horace Floyd, Pastor Lester Hayes (Sharon), Charles Hayes, Ivan Hayes, Curtis Biggles (Betty), Herman Peterson, Leonard Screen; two brothers-in-law, Rashard Pompey and Jarrell Pompey; five sisters Mildred King (Kelvin), Patricia McNair (Alexander), Elaine Smith (Harold), Ruby Peterson (James), Jacqueline Cochran, one sister-in-law Shaunita Pompey; a beloved aunt Ruth Johnson and a Godson, Carter Alexander Hayes.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Eliza Hayes Stewart and Lazarus Cochran; two brothers Robert Hayes and Van Hayes; two sisters, Gwendolyn Cochran and Eloise Hines.
