Funeral services for Tanner Eugene Kirby, 17, of Bainbridge will be held Friday, November 18, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Clint Brooks and Rev. Waylon Day will officiate and interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Trent Kirby, Cody Elrod, Luiz Gomez, Anthony Perkins, Dwayne Perkins.

Born September 26, 1999, in Camilla, he was the son of Martin Kirby and Vickie Elrod Ruiz, who survives. Mr. Kirby passed away Monday, November 14, 2016, in Decatur County. Survivors are his father, Martin Kirby of Pelham; his mother, Vickie Elrod Ruiz (Joey Howard); his step-father, Antonio Ruiz of Camilla; his brothers and sisters, Trent Kirby of Pelham, Breanna Ruiz of Camilla, AJ Ruiz of Camilla; a half-sister, Laka Pilgrim of Pelham; a half-brother, Trenor Kirkland of Pelham, and a step-brother, Joey Howard Jr.; his grandparents, Phyllis Elrod of Pelham, Ray and Krista Elrod of Pelham and Alan and Brenda Kirby of Albany. Other survivors include uncles, Michael Hurst of Baconton, Cody Elrod of Pelham, Leon Kirby of Albany; and an aunt Rhoda Hopkins of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his uncle Chris Elrod.
