Susan Zellner Strong, 67, formerly of Albany, died Friday, November 4, 2016, in Bainbridge, Ga..

Her memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016, at the graveside at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Mr. Steve Hurley will officiate.

Mrs. Strong was a very kind-hearted and proper woman.  She was born in Forsyth, Ga., daughter to Kimball and Helen Zellner.  Mrs. Strong graduated from Mercer University and was President of the Phi Mu sorority.  She became an avid Georgia fan.  She was a former member of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, the Junior League of Albany, and former chairman of the Albany Area Arts Festival.  Mrs. Strong worked for the Department of Family and Children Services in Albany.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Judson Strong, Jr. and her sister, the late Carolyn Zeller Goss.

Ms. Strong is survived by her daughter Caroline and granddaughter, Presley.
