James R. “Chub” Maxwell

James R. “Chub” Maxwell, 59, of Whigham, Ga., passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Climax Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Poppell and Rev. Harold Burrell officiating. A private interment will follow at Maxwell Hill Cemetery with Mark Maxwell, Paul Maxwell, Murry Maxwell, Tim Maxwell, Cuy Harrell IV, and Chris Harrell serving as active pallbearers. Ike Maxwell, John Maxwell, Billy Maxwell, Jr., Stephen Maxwell, Patrick Anderson, William Anderson, Hunter Darley, Holton Darley, Blake Voyles, Buster Bell, Hayes Bell, Ben Palmer, Stephen VanLandingham, Greg VanLandingham, Doyle Womack, Mark Mitchell, Greg Hamil, Robby Knight, Bubba Knight, Joe Knight, Kelly Newberry, Billy Jowers, Jason Lynn, Wallace Bishop, Neyland Robinson, Embry Robinson, Johnny Knight, Jason Knight, Spencer Duncan, Jimmy Powe, Charles Shockley, Wendell Gardner, and Jerry Thomas will serve as honorary pallbearers.
