Many will remember “Miss” Lucille from her years of accounting at the Dianna Shop and Belk. She would later retire from First Port City Bank in Bainbridge. Lucille spent her days working in her yard. She loved to garden and tend to beautiful flowers. She enjoyed music, especially sacred music and was a member of her church choir. Lucille loved to read, cook, and sew when she wasn’t in the garden. Lucille was credited for sewing her daughter, Julie’s wedding dress. “Miss” Lucille served her church as a dedicated Children’s Sunday School teacher and substitute for the Adult Sunday School Classes.

Survivors include her children, Leon F. Lynn, Jr. and his wife, Karen, of Thomasville, Ga., Julie Lynn Oosterman of Fleming Island, Fla., and David Lynn of Bainbridge, Ga.; her brother, Randolph Brock and his wife, Janie, of Thomasville; her eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
