Bainbridge man busted for burglary, selling marijuana

Tyron “TJ” Murphy was arrested by Bainbridge Public Safety on Tuesday and charged with burglary, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession for marijuana with intent within 1000 feet of a public school.

BPS officers were called to a residence on the 2200 block of Folwstown Rd. in relation to a burglary. According to the incident report, BPS officers were told that a black male walked into the residence uninvited and allegedly stole $200 off the table in the living room.

The male was identified as Murphy. BPS officer made contact with Murphy roughly two hours after the burglary when an officer spotted him near John Johnson Elementary.

Murphy was placed under arrest for the burglary and during a search of his person BPS officers discovered 14 small ziplock bags containing suspected marijuana.
