Lady Cougars top the Bobcats

R.F. Munroe came close, but the Grace Christian Academy Lady Cougars came together to down the Bobcats 3-0.

The Lady Cougars won the first set 25-21, the second set 25-19 and the third set 25-20. The victory bumps the team to 8-0 on the season.

Sarah Castoro was huge for the Lady Cougars, going 13-for-13 on serves with five digs.

Addie Elkins had 15 assists, Abby Mills had five kills and Kaitlyn Holcombe had four kills. McKenzie Brown was an anchor on defense.

The Lady Cougars next travel to North Florida Christian for a tournament on Saturday, Sept. 24. They return for their next home game on Thursday, Oct. 6, against Valwood School. The J.V. team plays at 4 p.m. followed by the varsity team at 5 p.m.
