Lady Cougars continue to roll

The Lady Cougars continued their early season dominance on Tuesday with a straight set victory over the visiting Georgia Christian School. Grace Christian Academy won in the match three to none with lopsided score of 25-6, 25-15 and 25-12, The Lady Cougars are now 4-0 on the season.

Assistant Coach Joey Lee said they won the games thanks in large part to their strong serves

“Kaitlyn Holcombe, McKenzie Brown, Abby Mills and Addie Elkins all had five aces,” Lee said.

Head Coach Candice Walker said that performing well on serves is the key to winning a lot of games.

“That’s where you get most of your points is from the serve,” she said. “If we’re not making serves then we’re not winning games. Serves are important.”
