Two Bainbridge players were named to the Preseason AAAAA All-State offensive team.

The Bearcats are represented by junior running back Dameon Pierce and senior offensive lineman Christian Glover.

Pierce led the team in rushing last season with 2,060 yards and 33 touchdowns. He broke multiple records, including most touchdowns in a season. He is verbally committed to Alabama.

Glover is a four-year starter and is expected to make a big impact in the trenches this season.

“Glover has been starting since freshman year, understands our system, rarely makes missed assignments, and that’s huge,” offensive line coach Jason Whitaker said.

Watch Pierce, Glover and the rest of the Bearcats start the season against Lee County on Friday, Aug. 26, at Centennial Field. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
