Services for Virginia Roland Myers, 88, of Attapulgus, Ga., are at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the Eastside Baptist Church, Cairo, Ga..  Rev. Wayne McDonald and Andrew Donaldson will officiate.  Services will conclude at the church. Interment will be in Cairo Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be: Brett Jackson, Christopher Johnson, Sage Kamiya, Larry Unger, Ivan Roland, Larry McDougald and Earl Robinson.

Ms. Myers was born in Cairo, on August 3, 1927, to the late Jesse Walter Roland, Sr. and Fannie Lucille Mashburn. On March 4, 1944 she married Ivan B. Myers Jr., who proceeded her in death. Virginia was a seamstress and was of Baptist faith.

Proceeded in death by, parents, husband, daughters, Edith Myers and Elma Lightfritz, two brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2016.
