Carolyn Ethel “Toots” Smith Lyons

Funeral services for Carolyn Ethel Smith Lyons, 75, of Auburn will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2016, in the Chapel of Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Town Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 12 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Carolyn was born October 20, 1940, to the late Ralph “Dude” and Katherine Kirbo Smith.  She passed away July 4, 2016. She was a Christian of faith.

Surviving are her husband, Daniel Earl Lyons; daughters, Ruth Ann Lyons Fisher, Danielle Rae Lyons Wright and Mary Sylvia Lyons Blakemore; grandchildren, Katherine Lee, Jennifer Elizabeth, Michael David Fisher, Jr., Ashley Mae, Jackson Dean Blakemore, Laura Amelia, Daniel Alexander, and Samuel Benjamin Wright; siblings, Joan Smith Cochran, Benny Smith Turknett, Ralph Smith, Jr., Robert Smith III., Charles Smith and Ann Smith Wilder; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Lee County Humane Society in Carolyn’s memory.
