Monday is the Fourth of July, and the city of Bainbridge will be hosting a celebration at the Earle May Boat Basin.
Two bands based out of the Atlanta area will be leading the people of Bainbridge in celebrating their independence with live music. The Evergreen Band will kick off the night at 5 p.m., followed by the A Town A List at 6 p.m. Both bands will play a variety of music, including country and pop.
Local student Dani Parker will be singing the national anthem.
For your sweet tooth and salty cravings, there will be eight food vendors, including Sno Biz, Richardson’s Barbecue, Fiesta Foods, Porter’s Shaved Ice, Scoops Ice Cream, Cindy’s Ice Palace, Reticci’s Ice and Mick a Million.
A Kid Zone vendor will also be available to purchase light up toys, bracelets and more.
The night will wrap up around 9:30 p.m. with a firework show lasting 30 minutes.
