Miss Grubbs to wed Mr. Bowen September 10

     Mr. Roger Grubbs of Eldorendo is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of his daughter, Brittany Morgan Grubbs to Dustin Roland Bowen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Bowen of Donalsonville.

     The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Grubbs of Eldorendo.

     Miss Grubbs is a 2007 graduate of Bainbridge High School.  She graduated from Albany State University with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood. She is currently employed at Miller County Elementary School in Colquitt.

     The future groom is the grandson of the late J.B. and Dorothy Bowen and Ouida Carr and the late Hugh Carr, all of Donalsonville.

      Mr. Bowen is a 2009 graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy in Damascus. He graduated from Bainbridge College and is currently employed with Jerry Nix Construction. 

     The wedding is planned for September 10, 2016, at 5 O’clock in the afternoon at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, with a reception to follow at the Donalsonville Country Club.

     All friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend.
