Carolyn Cumbie Brooks

Carolyn Cumbie Brooks, 79, of Pelham died Thursday, June 09, 2016 at her
residence.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 12 at Parker-Bramlett
Funeral Home.  Rev. Franklin Russ will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Brooks, Craig Brooks, Robert Brooks, Larry
Brooks, Justin Gravlee, and Frank Williams.
Born March 17, 1937 in Mitchell County, Mrs. Brooks was the daughter of
the late Andrew Jackson Cumbie and Jimmie Lou Allen Cumbie.  She was a
homemaker and attended Father’s Home Church and Oak Grove Church.  Mrs.
Brooks was married to the love of her life, Roland Brooks, for 59 years.
She was preceded in death by brother, Durwood Cumbie and sister, Linda
Cumbie Donalson.
Survivors include her husband, Roland Brooks of Pelham;  one brother,
Hayward Cumbie of Albany;  nieces and nephews, Tori Gravlee, Cheryl
Brinkley, Debra Foister, Sheila Barly, Teresa Kilgore, Robert Brooks,
Gerald Brooks, Ronnie Brooks, Craig Brooks, Robin Brooks, Kevin Brooks,
Chris Brooks, and Sherry Brooks.
Visitation will follow the services, Sunday, at Parker-Bramlett Funeral
Home in Camilla.
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
