Dr. Magical Balloons came to the Gilbert H. Gragg Library Tuesday morning to get the summer reading program started.

Although there was slim attendance, the children present joined in enthusiastically with the activities and helped act out fairy tales while wearing appropriate balloon head pieces.

The 2016 Summer Reading program is open to young people pre-school through teens with this year’s theme,“On you Mark, Get Set, Read.”

The next program will be June 6 featuring Galactic Quest, when Kyle Puttkammer brings his talent and shares it with children ages 9 and up. It is all about comic books. They will hear about Galactic Quests’ very own comic book and receive a free comic book.
