Miss Mims to wed Mr. Pate in June

Larry and Anne Mims of Northport, Alabama are announcing the engagement of their daughter Heather Mims to Blake Pate, son of Jimmy Pate and Pam and Billy Wright of Red Level, Alabama.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Martha Clement and the late Harold Clement of Bainbridge, Georgia and the late Rufus and Louise Mims of Tuscaloosa. Her great-grandparents were the late JO and Clara Mae Sharber of Bainbridge.

Miss Mims is a 2009 graduate of North Side High School and of the University of West Alabama, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She is currently enrolled at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of James Salter and Janaine and Wayne Carrier of Evergreen, Florida and Virginia Pate and the late Jimmy Pate Sr. of Paul, Alabama.

Mr. Page is a 2008 graduate of Red Level High School and a graduate of the University of West Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. He is currently enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic Medicine.

The wedding and reception are planned for June 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the Northriver Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa.
