Mrs. Patsy Wilson Brock, 72, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her residence.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May18, 2016 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Medley officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery.

Mrs. Brock was born September 27, 1943 in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of J. C. Wilson and Sara Rabon Wilson. She was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School, Class of 1961 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Valdosta State College. Patsy taught 1st grade at Jones-Wheat Elementary School for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Hilda Byrd Sunday School Class, and deeply loved her family.

Survivors include her husband, Winston B. Brock of Bainbridge; her children, Renée B. Sims of Bainbridge, Winston B. Brock, Jr. and his wife, Marcia, of Bainbridge, and Misty B. Griffin and her husband, Jim, of Bainbridge; her sister, Judy W. Zorn and her husband, Mark, of Bainbridge; and her grandchildren, Marla Sims, Ashton Brock, John Sims, Grayson Griffin, and Winston B. Brock, III.
