DAR recognizes BHS JROTC Cadets

At the May meeting of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Bainbridge Chapter recognized three cadets from Bainbridge High School for their outstanding contributions to the JROTC program. Under the leadership of Col. Dave Stewart and SMSgt Scott Moorehouse, cadets were selected on the characteristics of honor, service, courage, leadership and patriotism. Three JROTC Good Citizen Awards were presented to Cadet Colonels Quang Pham, Taylor Mims and Austin Sapp. SMSgt Moorehouse introduced the cadets and gave a brief history of their school involvement and plans for the future. NSDAR Service Chair Dawn Hamill and Retired Air Force Veteran Kathryn Lillethun presented the awards to each cadet. The DAR members extended their sincere congratulations and thanks to the students for their service and wished them success in their future plans.
