Anniston Brown, Dhara Patel, McCartney Bell and Anna Claire Mock, or “the Fabulous Four” as coach Melynda Murkerson calls them, make up the Xcel Bronze gymnastics team from the Bainbridge Gymnast-A-Cats.

The four recently competed in the Georgia State Gymnastic Championships where they each claimed a state championship in their respective age groups on the balance beam.

Patel and Brown tied for first place in the seven-year-old Junior A division with a score of a 9.5.

Bell won first place in the Junior B age division with a score of a 9.4, and Mock won the eight-year-old division also with a score of a 9.5. The girls are coached by Gabby Hardee and Murkerson.
