Billy Williamson, 62, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Bainbridge with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Bobby Blackmon, Bo Griffin, Tom Griffin, Jon Lee, Josh Lee, Ronnie Banks, Ronnie Chastain, George Grimsley, Tommy Olive will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.

Billy was born June 6, 1953 in Ft. Campbell, KY, the son of Jack William Williamson and Charlotte Elizabeth Haire Williamson. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1971 and Bainbridge Junior College. Billy was a maintenance planner and industrial electrician with Active Minerals International LLC.
Billy was an unforgettable person with a smirky smile that wreaked of mischief. He made friends wherever he went from the golf course to the tennis courts to the dance floor. He was a diehard FSU fan. Billy enjoyed spending time with the family he loved more than anything. He could often be found watching a ball game, fishing, or lounging on the beach.
Survivors include his wife, Alison S. Williamson; his children, Brad Williamson and his wife, Brandy, of Braselton, GA, and Lance Williamson and his wife, Heather, of Douglasville, GA; his father, Jack W. Williamson; his siblings, Jackie Lee of Longboat Key, FL, Becky Griffin and her husband, Stuart, of Bainbridge, and Charla Williamson also of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Tyler, Emma, Sophie, and Maddie; and his beloved pet, Laci. Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte H. Willamson, and his sister, Dianna W. Blackmon.
