Miss Bush and Mr. Barney to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Reginald (Brenda) Bush Sr. of Bainbridge are announcing the engagement of their daughter Shemelia Bush to Tarow Barney, son of Dehancy Barney and Trent Robinson of Gainesville, Florida.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gussie May Mitchell of Bainbridge and the late Rev. Eustice Mitchell, and the late Melvin and Ida Bush.

Miss Bush is a 2012 graduate of Bainbridge High School and holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Bainbridge State College. She is employed at Jones Wheat Elementary School.

Mr. Barney is the grandson of Sarah Gaye. He is a 2012 graduate of Bainbridge High School, attended Northwest Mississippi College and is a recent graduate of Penn State University where he played football and obtained a degree in criminology.

The wedding is planned for April 16 at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church. The reception will follow at the Kirbo Center. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
