Grace Christian Academy brought home seven first place awards and numerous other trophies from the GISA Region 3-AA Track and Field Meet Wednesday.

Senior Perra Harrell had two first place finishes, with one in the 1600-meter run and another in the 3200-meter run. She also placed fourth in the triple jump.

Mikey Harrell placed third in the 100-meter dash and grabbed third in the long jump.

The 4×100 relay team of Carley Godwin, Mikey Harrell, Kaitlyn Holcombe and Perra Harrell took home of the third place trophy. Third place was also awarded to the 4×400 relay team of Godwin, Holcombe, Perra Harrell and Kate McRae.

On the boys’ side, Jack McRae too first in the shot put, Dakota Vickers claimed first in the 100-meter dash and Gabe Parker claimed first in the 800-meter dash.

The 4×400 relay team of Jack McRae, Sam McRae, Parker and Vickers also took home the first place medal.

The 4×100 relay team of Jack McRae, Sam McRae, Dakota Vickers and Caleb Carr grabbed second place.

Other individual awards included Jack McRae claiming third in the 400-meter dash, Carr placing fourth in the 800-meter run and Same McRae placing fourth in the long jump.
