Richard (Dick) Winton

Richard (Dick) Winton, age 72 of Bainbridge, Ga,. died Sunday March 6, 2016 at his home, surrounded by family and under the care of Hospice of Southwest Ga.

Mr. Winton was born September 6, 1943 in Stambugh, Mich.. to the late Lester Ralph and Norma Anntonetti Winton. He was a navy veteran, having served his country proudly during the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a special love for his cats. He had lived in the area for 10 years.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth Ann Hunt Winton; two sons, Richard Lester Winton and Anthony Joseph Winton, both of Crawfordville; one grandson, Adam Isaiah Tyler Winton; one brother, Jerald Winton and one sister Mary King.                          In addition to his parents Dick was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Louis King and one sister-in-law, Donna Winton.
