Miss Youmans and Mr. Beauchamp to wed in May

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Youmans of Cairo, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Marielle Nicole of Cairo, to Stuart Douglas Beauchamp of Bainbridge, Georgia. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. David N. Beauchamp, Jr. of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Judy and Tom Youmans of Bainbridge and the late Mike and Ruth Mc Dowell of Vero Beach, Florida. She is a 2008 graduate of Brookwood School in Thomasville, Georgia. She graduated from Mercer University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. While at Mercer she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She will receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia in Spring 2016 and will begin the orthodontics residency program there in Summer 2016.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Jean Wingard of Bainbridge, the late Dean Wingard, Anne Beauchamp of Chandler, Arizona, and the late David N. Beauchamp, Sr. He is a 2008 graduate of Grace Christian Academy in Bainbridge, and received his B.S. in Biological Science from the University of Georgia in 2012. He will receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia in Spring 2016 and will begin the periodontics residency program there in Summer 2016.

The wedding is planned for May 21, 2016 in Panama City Beach, Fla.  Following the wedding the couple will reside in Augusta, Georgia.
