JV baseball defeats Brooks County

Two pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter for the Bainbridge J.V. baseball team in a 12-0 victory in five innings over Brooks County Monday.

Ben Mitchell and Dalton Harrell rounded combined for eight strikeouts and two walks.

Harrell put together a nice outing, holding Brooks County hitless over 4 2/3 innings, allowing no earned runs, walking two and striking out eight.

Twelve runs in the first three innings helped Bainbridge blow out Brooks County .

An error, an RBI single by Nic Barber, and a two-run single by Hayden Martin in the first inning and an error, an RBI double by Barber, a two-run double by Walt Burrell, a two-run single by Mason Martin, a steal of home by Martin, and an error during the second inning supplied the early offense for Bainbridge

Barber racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Bearcats

The Bainbridge J.V. team takes the field again Saturday, March, 5, against Leon at Cairo. First pitch is at noon.
