Wilfred Franklin Cook, 88, of Bainbridge, Ga.. passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at Memorial Hospital.

Wilfred was born March 7, 1927 in Bainbridge, the son of Coy Ellis Cook and Eula Mae Cook. Wilfred was graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1944. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Wilfred retired from the United States Post Office with over 30 years of service.

Wilfred enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He played the clarinet and was a member of several local bands throughout the years. Wilfred is probably best known for his craftsmanship and service through Custom Frame Shop. He served this area for more than 40 years framing precious memories for customers who quickly became friends. Wilfred was a member of Bainbridge First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Sis Cook, and a special friend, Lauren Turner.
