Janice Curles Wright, 73, formerly of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 in Brunswick, Georgia.

The graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2016

at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Rev. David Grubbs officiating.

Janice Ellen Curles was born July 13, 1942 in Camilla, Ga. the daughter of Roscoe Curles and Eula Pearl Adams Curles. She lived most of her life in Decatur County and was Baptist by faith. Janice enjoyed card games especially Rummy and Rummikub. Her love for home decor and used goods led her to discover thrift shops, which she frequented. When she wasn’t shopping or playing cards, Janice would watch western movies. Her favorites were the old black and whites.

Survivors include her children, Darrell Walker of Fairbanks, Alaska; Cindy Wollitz and her husband, John, of Charleston, SC; Tammy Gladysz of St. Mary’s, Ga.; Nicky Walker and her husband, Chris, of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; her siblings, Buddy Curles of Bradenton, Fla.; Jimmy Curles of Columbia, SC; Jerry Curles of Aiken, SC; Phyllis Haivala of Choctaw, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Heather, Jacquelynn, Alex, Kimberly, Shawn, and Christopher; and her great-grandchildren, Anthony and Greyson.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Connie Walling and Joe Curles.
