Miss Poitevint and Mr. Gilbert to wed in April

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Phillip Poitevint of Bainbridge, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jordan Ashley Poitevint to Gregory Taylor Gilbert, son of Dr. and Mrs. George Gregory Gilbert of Auburn, Alabama.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Myrle Jordan Herring and the late Mr. William Cade Herring of Bainbridge, and of Mrs. Marion Poitevint Hicks of Opelika, Alabama and the late Dr. Warren H. Hicks, of Opelika, and the late Dr. Ottis Lamar Poitevint of Bainbridge.

Miss Poitevint is a 2007 graduate of Bainbridge High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Auburn University. She is employed by McKesson Medical Surgical as a Long-term Care Account Manager.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mrs. Euthana Park of Guntersville, Alabama, Mr. Bobby C. Park of New Market, Alabama, Mrs. Minna Hayes Appleby of Dothan, Alabama, and Dr. and Mrs. George W. Gilbert of Dothan.

Mr. Gilbert is a 2007 graduate of Auburn High School and graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration with a minor in Economics. He is employed with Lewis M. Carter Manufacturing as a Parts and Sales Assistant Manager.

The wedding is planned for April 30,, 2016 at half past five o’clock in the afternoon at Auburn United Methodist Church, Auburn, Alabama. The reception will follow at Fountainview Mansion in Auburn.
