William Wright Haire

William Wright Haire, 81, of Oakfield, Ga. passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at Oak City Cemetery in Bainbridge, Ga.

Born, July 14, 1934 in Atlanta, Ga., Mr. Haire was the son of Brady Monroe Haire Sr. and Mildred Wright Haire.

He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and attended the University of Georgia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy as a jet pilot. He was part owner of Knight’s Magnovax sales for many years in Albany, Ga. and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bainbridge.

Mr. Haire was divorced and had no children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Charlotte Haire Williamson and his brother Brady Monroe Haire Jr,

Survivors are his sisters, Barbara Haire Johnson of Donalsonville, Ga. and Joan Haire Lang (Ivan) of Phoenix, Ariz.
