Zane Michael Gunn

Zane Michael Gunn, infant son of Lea Spooner Gunn and Michael Gunn of Bainbridge,  passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Bainbridge Church of God with Rev. Ryan Carnes and Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery with Ernie Lowery, Colt Lowery, Kevin Spooner, and Jason Spooner serving as active pallbearers.

Zane was born June 27, 2015 in Bainbridge, the son of Lea Ann Spooner and Allen Michael Gunn. He attended Little Blessings Day Care. Zane was a happy baby, smiling all the time. He loved music and would light up especially when he heard “Jesus Loves Me”. Zane never met a stranger and strangers always fell in love with this smiling baby boy. Zane was the light of his big sister’s life; Zoey Bug called Zane her “Bubba”.

Survivors include his parents, Lea Spooner Gunn and Michael Gunn; his sister, Zoey Gunn; his grandparents, Ross and Barbara Ann Spooner and Paul Allen Gunn; and his great-grandfather, Arthur Powell Bird. Zane was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandra Lee Parker and great-grandmother, Ruby Duane Bird.
