Coach Marion Bush’s Bainbridge Middle School eighth grade Lady Cats dropped a 40-17 decision to Thomasville’s McIntyre Middle School eighth grade Lady Bulldogs Monday at the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum.

The Lady Cats led 9-5 at the end of the first quarter. But the Lady Bulldogs outscored them 13-0 in the second quarter to take an 18-9 halftime lead.

Lashonda Williams led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 9 points. She was followed by India Parris with 5 points, Ashara Fudge with 2 and Nyla Register with 1. Coach Bush said she thought her players hustled and played hard the entire game but just could not put any kind of consistent scoring run together.
