Diana Joyce Dunn
Diana Joyce Dunn, 68, of Attapulgus, Ga., passed away on January 2, 2016 at Grady General Hospital in Cairo. She was born August 11, 1947 in Chico, California.
Diana graduated from Monterey Bay Academy in Watsonville, California in 1965. She became an LPN and worked in several hospitals and nursing homes throughout her career. She also worked at Pizza Hut in Rome, Ga. for many years before health issues forced her to retire. Diana was known as “Nana” to her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard & Helen Biggerstaff and  three siblings, Carol Jean Bray, Dorothy Bowen and Jim Biggerstaff.  She is survived by her children, Irena (Michael) Justice, Attapulgus Ga,, Steven Dunn, Attapulgus, Tina Cunningham, Climax, Ga, and Carmen Caraway (James) Uvalda, Ga.; nine grandchildren, and  five great-grandchildren, as well as her siblings Bonnie Martin, Helen Nelson, Rick Biggerstaff, John Fowler and many nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private burial service in Baxley, Ga., where Diana will be interred with her parents.
