Thomas Floyd ‘Tommy” Allen

Mr. Tommy Allen, 61, of Colquitt died Saturday, December  26, 2015, at Pioneer Community Hospital in Blakely.  Funeral services were Monday, December 28, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tony Mock officiating.  Interment followed in the Colquitt City Cemetery with Jerry Chapman, Kenneth Gibson, Richard Allen, Daniel Allen, Stacy Gordon and Erick Burke serving as active pallbearers.. Visitation was Monday, December 28, 2015, from 2-3 p.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home.

Tommy was retired from Amoco Fabrics in Bainbridge. He attended Georgia Southwestern College in Americus and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Josephine Allen of Colquitt, Ga.; four brothers, Ricky (Sherry) Allen, Tim (Sandra) Allen, Danny (Sheila) Allen and Russ Allen all of Colquitt, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Allen.
