It is worth a drive around town to see the beautifully decorated homes in Bainbridge this Christmas Season.

Beginning at the square downtown, take a drive down East Shotwell Street and enjoy all the stately historic homes in their Christmas glory.

From there, the most scenic route is to turn right on Scott Street and proceed to Lake Douglas Road, where some outstanding decorations can be seen. Continue on to Pineland Drive and turn left. Enjoy the view as you come to the split in the road. At that point choose either Pineland on the right or veer left onto Twin Lakes where there are many different scenes depicting the Christmas spirit, from the classic to the Disney Toyland theme. Be sure to go all the way down Twin Lakes, past Thomas Drive, to the end. Half-way down on the left is the exquisitely decorated home and grounds of the Johnson Parker family. Drive back up to Thomas Drive, turn left and view the beautiful homes along that route to College Road. Turning Right on College, drive to Ashton Way and turn into the Douglas Hills subdivision, where circling around gives a view of the many lighted homes there.

Or you can wind through the Lake Douglas area streets back to Douglas Drive to see the spectacular homes there, including the Smith and Poitevint homes.

These locations are just a few suggested highlights. Wherever you may roam, there are sure to be plenty of beautiful and unique Christmas decorations to brighten your spirits.
