Miss Flowers to wed Mr. White
Charles and Betsy Flowers of Bainbridge, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Leanna Flowers to Kirby White, son of Jack and Maria White of Chehalis, Washington.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bessie Lee Oglesby of Albany and the late James Wilbur Oglesby, MD and Sybil Knight Oglesby of Tifton, Ga., and the late John Grayson and Patsy Purvis Flowers of Bainbridge.
Miss Flowers is a 2010 graduate of Bainbridge High School and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Exercise Science. She is enrolled in Physical Therapy School at the University of North Georgia.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Minda Converse of Chehalis and the late George Converse and Edward Weed and the late Lois Weed, also of Chehalis.
Mr. White graduated from W.F. West High School in 2007 and from the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in Systems Engineering Management. He is a member of the U.S. Air Force.
The wedding is planned for January 2 at 4 p.m. at Bainbridge First United Methodist Church. The reception will follow at The Old Library.
