     Ms. Kristy Edwards, 28, of Colquitt died Friday, December 11, 2015 at Miller County Hospital. Funeral services will be Monday, December 14, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fletcher Sheffield and Carl Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Cooks Union Church Cemetery with Mark Whittaker, Tim Avery, Brandon Morales, Kane Morales, Marvin Amerson, and Danny Davis, Jr. serving as active pallbearers. Visitation was held Sunday, December 13, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home.

Kristy was a member of Kimbrel Chapel Church of God.

She is survived by her mother, Pamela Edwards of Colquitt; father, Matthew Avery of Colquitt; paternal grandmother, Lillian Edwards of Newton, Ga.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kristy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert Sherrell and Jannie Peace Williams; paternal grandfather, Bobby Tom Edwards; maternal great grandparents, Ennis Pat and Susie Peace, and Robert and Lillian Williams.
