Miss Crews to wed Mr. Battles

Chelcee Jewel Crews and Joshua Ethan Battles, both of Brinson, are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

Chelcee is the daughter of Jeff and Fran Crews of Donalsonville and Stephanie and Rick Landeen of Bainbridge. Her grandparents are Louise Crews and the late Donald D. “Red” Crews of Climax, Olivia and Charlie McCall of Brinson and the late Stanley Roy Barber.

She is a 2009 graduate of Bainbridge High School and graduated in 2013 from the CORE Institute of Massage Therapy. She is self-employed as a licensed massage therapist.

The groom-to-be is the son of Joe Frank and Darinda Battles and of Georgia Battles, all of Bainbridge. His grandparents are Charlotte Battles and the late George Franklin Battles III of Bainbridge, David and Patricia Preston of Albany and the late Jackie Jeannine Yates and George Francis Brooks.

Mr. Battles graduated from Miller County High School in 2007 and is employed with Steward Machine Company.

The wedding is planned for November 21 at 4 p.m. in Brinson. A reception will follow at the Bainbridge Country Club.
