Crashed plane found near Climax

The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a crashed plan near Climax.
According to Decatur County Sheriff Wiley Griffin, the plane was from South Florida and its destination was Cairo.
The two people aboard the plane have been declared as deceased.
According to Flight Aware, the plane is a Cessna Conquest 2 (twin-turboprop). It left Lakeland, Florida, at 9:06 a.m. and was supposed to land in Cairo at 10:02 a.m. this morning.
Griffin said Thomas County, Grady County and Leon County sheriff’s offices helped in finding the plane.
