Brewer – Lord engagement announced

Jennifer Brewer and Cody Lord are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

Ms. Brewer is the daughter of Connie Kay and the granddaughter of Judy Farrington, the late Paul Farrington and the late Frank Kay Sr., all of Bainbridge.

She is a 2003 graduate of Bainbridge High School and earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Bainbridge College. She is employed at Memorial Hospital in the Labor and Delivery Department of the Women’s Center.

Mr. Lord is the son of Johnny and Patti Lord of Bainbridge and the grandson of Patricia Thursby and the late Bill Thursby of Donalsonville, and the late UL and Jeffie Lord of Jakin.

The groom-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. He is employed with BASF of Attapulgus.

The wedding is planned for December 5, at 4 p.m. at the home of Jim and Shay Shingler in Iron City. A reception will follow at the Firehouse Gallery.
