The Bainbridge High School Lady Cats junior varsity softball team defeated the Crisp County High School junior varsity Lady Cougars 13-3 last Thursday in a game that was stopped after five innings because the Lady Cats had a 10-run lead.
Two solo home runs by Tyra Jackson and CT Jones and a grand slam home run by Bailey Rayfield provided the Lady Cats fire power.
Coach Chris Bryant said he was very proud of the team for their excellent play this season.
“Against Chris County we got great power hitting, great overall defense and an outstanding pitching performance from Addison Enfinger,” he said. “The junior varsity finished the season with an outstanding 11-1-1 record.”
