Gloria Ann Ross Henley

Mrs. Gloria Henley, 70, of Colquitt died Saturday, August 29, 2015, in Early County. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Clyatt and Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Jeff Parker, Jay Parker, Heath Parker, Ross Parker, Johnny Roberts, and Tim Stewart serving as active pall bearers. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015, from 1-3 p.m. at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gloria was a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was also the treasurer of Midway Association Auxilliary for over 30 years. Mrs. Gloria retired as owner of Traditions Gift Shop.

She is survived by one son, Kim (Susan) Henley of Colquitt, one daughter, Melanie (Lavon) Connell of Whigham; three grandsons, Austin Henley, Henley Haire, and Aaron Haire all of Colquitt; one granddaughter, Kimber Henley of Colquitt; and one sister, Barbara Ross (Billy) Parker of Bainbridge.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a college fund that has been set up for Renee’s children at First State Bank of Colquitt, attention Livvy Suggs, PO Box 126, 106 West Crawford Street, Colquitt, GA 39837.
