Betty S. Bryant, 78, of Climax, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at her residence.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Harrell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at

Mrs. Bryant was born May 28, 1937 the daughter of James Colice Hendricks and Sara Elizabeth Fielder Hendricks. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a retired owner of Louie’s Salad Bowl and Betty’s Place in Thomasville, Ga. She treated her customers like family and made sure they left satisfied with her good food and a story or two. Betty’s grandchildren, nieces, and nephews held a special spot in her heart and her pocketbook. She never missed a birthday or other special occasion always thinking of what you may want and not just what you needed. Betty loved her people.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas H. Bryant, Sr. of Climax; her son, Thomas H. Bryant, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Thomasville; her sister, Mary Graham and her husband, John, of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Jenny Bryant, Cory Bryant and Sammy Bryant; and her great-grandchild, Augi Pelt.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Keith Bryant; and her siblings, Bobby Hendricks, Jimmy Hendricks and Sue Coleman.
