Auditions will be held Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28 at 7 p.m. at Bainbridge Little Theatre for three one-act plays penned by Basil Lucas and Henry Intili. These are described by the authors as fun plays that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
The shows will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 28, 29 and 30.
Lucas has an original one-man show that looks at the life and mis-adventures of Robert Penn Warren. Intili has two humorous one-act plays, The First Arrow and The Hippie.
In The First Arrow, an inventive young man stuck in a stone-age tribe creates the first bow and arrow and still loses his girl to the thick-headed king. The Hippie is all about a young man with a fake beard and baggy clothes who visits his sister he hasn’t seen in five years. Was he really studying yoga in Tibet?
Because these local plays are not part of the regular schedule, admission is $5 per seat with no advance reservations.
