Judy Kay Jones Brock

Mrs. Judy Kay Jones Brock, 72, died Tuesday morning (July 7, 2015) at Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta, Ga. following a long illness.

She was born in Jacksonville, Fla. but had lived most of her life in Waycross, Ga. She was employed as an LPN for Dr. McGahee in Jesup, Ga., Waycross Family Practice with Dr. Richard Lynch, The Tebeau House, and Ware Manor Nursing Home. She was also a member of Deenwood Baptist Church.

Mrs. Brock was a daughter of the late Beatrice Bennett Frazier. She was married to the late Edward Eugene Brock and preceded in death by a sister, Betty McCullers.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Beatrice Brock Joyner (Terris) of Hoboken,Ga..; a son, Raphael Edward Brock (Brenda) of Ft. Worth, Texas; four grandchildren, Brock L. Joyner (Vanessa) of Waycross, Katie L. Joyner of Hoboken, Jase A. Brock of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Aidan E. Brock of Ft. Worth; a sister, Patricia Ann Klein of Arizona; two nieces, Denise Medina and family and Lavelle Wade and family; one nephew, Mark McCullers and family; two cousins, Patsy Blair of Bainbridge, Ga. and Charles Bennett (Irene) of Quincy, Fla.; four family friends, Dot Perritt of Waycross, Faye Williams of Bainbridge, Katherine Bohannon of Blackshear, Ga. and Linda Edgerton of Blackshear.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday (July 14, 2015) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m.at Brock Cemetery in Bainbridge.

The family will be receiving friends Monday (July 13, 2015) from 6 until 8 at Music Funeral Home.
