Miss Jackson and Mr. Thomas to wed August 1

Ashley Janae Jackson, daughter of Levern Jackson and Gary Riles, of Bainbridge, is engaged to wed Cedric Thomas, son of Barbara Stewart Thomas and Nathaniel Thomas, of Augusta, Georgia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Thomas and Gladys Jackson Jr. of Bainbridge and the late Willie Riles Sr. and Luella B. Riles of Climax.

She is a 2003 graduate of Bainbridge High School and is a graduate of UGA and the Medical College of Georgia. She is employed as a Physician Assistant.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Arlene Stewart Jones and Robert W. Stewart, both deceased, and Gussie Wyche of Jacksonville, Florida.

Mr. Thomas graduated from Butler High School in 1998 and is a graduate of Sandersville Tech. He is a licensed minister and a truck driver.

The wedding is planned for August 1 at 4 p.m. in Augusta, Georgia
