Marcianna Theo Dore’ Jammes

Mrs. Marcianna Theo Dore’ Jammes, 70, of Archibald, La. passed peacefully on the morning of July 3 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born May 24, 1945 in Wheatfield, N.C. to Cleveland and Rose Andrews Dore’ who preceded her passing.

Mrs. Jammes leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 47 years, Reverend Larry Jammes of Archibald; children, Andrea Jammes of Rayville and Joseph H. Jammes of Archibald; grandchildren, Jessica Jammes of Rayville and Logan E. Jammes of Seward, AK. Mrs. Jammes is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Jean H. Dore’ of Jacksonville, FL, Judi Ivey (Roger) of Bainbridge, GA, Christina Dore’ of Trenton, FL, Libby Clemons (John) of Starke, FL, Sylvia Dore’ Wilkerson (Earl) of Lawtey, FL, India Kurtz (Bascom) of Jacksonville, FL, Lisa King (Dan) of Jacksonville, FL, and Christian Dore’ (Diane) of Jacksonville, FL; and numerous nephews, nieces, and other extended family.

Mrs. Jammes was a member of Community Fellowship Church of God in Archibald, LA.

Services for Mrs. Jammes were held 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bishop Pete Petry, Admin Bishop Melvin Schuler, and Bishop Timothy Fulmer officiating. Burial  followed in the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA.
