Library’s Summer program hosted Balloon Man

It was a match between the heroes and the villains when the Balloon Man, (aka Dewayne Reynolds) opened the children’s summer reading program at the Gilbert H. Gragg Library Tuesday morning.

Children chosen from the audience wore balloon masks depicting everything from Little Red Riding Hood to Spider Man and Darth Vader as they romped through the fairytale and super hero episodes.

Reynolds, a resident of Auburn, Ala. has been earning his living as a performer for 18 years. This is his fifth year doing the balloon show.
The summer reading program theme for 2015 is “Every Hero Has a Story. Next Tuesday, June 9 at 10 a.m., the program will be Cole Tucker, a 13-year-old singing ventriloquist.
