BHS basketball team takes a shot at summer team camp

Coach Rickey McCullough’s Bainbridge High School Bearcats basketball team will host their annual summer team camp Thursday at the school gymnasium.

Leading the way for the Bearcats will be senior shooting guard Tyree Crump, who has verbally committed to the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

Camp play opens with the Bearcats hosting the Ashford Alabama High School Yellow Jackets at 1 p.m.  The Early County High School Bobcats will take on the Seminole County High School Indians at 2 p.m. and Ashford will meet the Thomasville High School Bulldogs at 3 p.m.

Play will continue with the Cairo High School Syrupmakers squaring off against Early County at 4 p.m. and Seminole County and Thomasville squaring off at 5 p.m.
The final two games of the day will pit Early County against the Calhoun County High School Yellow Jackets at 6 p.m. and Cairo against Calhoun County at 7 p.m.

On Thursday, June 11, the Bearcats will take part in a team camp at Colquitt County High School in Moultrie.

The Bearcats will take on the home standing Colquitt County High School Packers at 4 p.m. Action will continue with the Cairo High School Syrupmakers taking on the Pelham High School Hornets at 5 p.m. and the Bearcats and Syrupmakers squaring off at 6 p.m.

The Colquitt County High School team camp will conclude with a 7 p.m. game between the home standing Packers and the Pelham High School Hornets.
